This is an easy one, all we will do is take an image (Bitmap) and apply it to an object, this time it's going to be a cube and we will give it an metal texture Wink I added the texture we will use at the end of the topic so just save it on you're desktop...
Material: METAL
1. Create a Cube

2. change the size to 100 x 100 x 100

3. Open the material editor by pressing M on you're keyboard
4.

5. choose Bitmap from the list

6. Now press Browse and choose the image that you downloaded from this topic
7. When thats done you should see something like this:

8. Now set up the option that will allow you to see the materials in the Perspective view

9. Apply the material to the box
[TUT] Applying matereal to an object Box710
